Hi I'm Zackious W Gower

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I am the child of four. I'm a longboarder, i'm a photographer, i'm a missionary, and i'm a mormon

About Me

I Grew up in Phoenix, AZ all my life and never really living anywhere else. I've been playing the guitar since I was thirteen which is something I love doing, but musically my taste has changed a lot from what it used to be. I recently have really gotten into longboard with friends from highschool and college because it allows me to just clear my head and see the things around me that I normally couldn't going forty-five miles an hour in a car. Growing up I kinda had a relationship with God, but pretty much once I started high school it stopped and it wasn't until my senior year that I first met with the missionaries. Now I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for little over a year and I will be serving a mission in Omaha, NE in july.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because it just felt so right and pure when I was sitting there and hearing the missionaries read scriptures out of the book of mormon. I think personally the main thing that caught my attention when I became a investigator is when they started talking to me about families being together forever and when I just saw how happy they we're all the time I knew I wanted that so bad. Ever since I was baptized and I started living by the gospel my life just did a total 180 compared to what it used to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by pretty much explaining it whenever someone asks me a question about it. It's mostly at work that I get asked about it and it honestly feels amazing to be able to bear my testimony to my co-workers. In my community the elders are always contacting me whenever they need some help with transfers, helping someone move since I have a truck, and even to just come along on lessons so I can tell investigators all about our faith. Home-teaching is something I always enjoy doing because it allows me to not only teach our brothers and sisters, but it also give me the chance to see how they are doing.
