Hi I'm Kelsi

I am a convert from Utah. I love adventure. I am Mormon.

About Me

I work part time and go to school part time. Not exactly sure where I want to go in life. I was studying engineering but have switched to nursing. We will see where it takes me. I love being outdoors- hiking, skiing, camping, rock climbing, playing, you name it. I love trying new things and learning in the process- hands on is always the best. Yes I am from Utah and yes I am a convert. Many people think everyone in Utah is LDS. Although there is a large majority of LDS members, there are still many non-members. I joined the church at age 8. It all started with a dear friend who asked me to come to church at the age of 6 or 7. When I turned 8 I walked up to the bishop, pulled on his pant leg and told him I wanted to be baptized. And that was that. Well sorta. I was lucky that my parents were open and willing to me joining the church. We had the missionaries in our home for a few weeks and 2 months after my 8th birthday I was baptized.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the comfort I receive from it each day. I love knowing God and Jesus Christ are always there for me and hear my prays. I love knowing God has a plan for me and that through the trials there will always be an equal or greater reward. I don't know where I would be without the sure foundation this gospel has provided me with.

How I live my faith

I am the only LDS member in my family. I live my faith by staying strong to my values and standards, being an example. Each day I strive to be better. I attend a ward specifically for young single adults. I have an opportunity to serve the ladies in the ward through teaching and visiting them. I love getting to know them and helping them feel the love Christ holds for them.
