Hi I'm Camille

I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

About Me

I am a college student. I am part of a large family that I love with all my heart. I love reading, and sometimes read so much that nothing else gets done. I love the joy of music. I play the flute, and was part of Marching Band. I enjoy having fun while playing games with my amazing friends, especially when it involves a frisby. I enjoy nature, and absolutely love being outside. I detest bugs, any form of little or big creepy crawlies freaks me out, but as long as they leave me alone I can mostly ignore them. I love photography and the ability it gives me to capture moments in time I always want to remember. I enjoy taking pictures of trees, flowers, clouds, sunsets, sunrises, etc. the most. I cannot stand bugs. I adore animals of all types and sizes. I hope to become a Marine Biologist one day. When I grow old, I want to be able to still live and think for myself, independent, flexible, and happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church. My parents are both members and raised me up to be able to learn the truth. I have read the Bible and the Book of Mormon and prayed about this faith. I have felt in my heart that this is where I am meant to be. I rely on the love I have felt from God so much that without this Gospel I don't know how I would be able to get past hard times and trials. I know for myself that God and His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, live. I know that they love me. They helped Joseph Smith restore this gospel to the earth, and waited to put me here until the gospel was restored so I could be a light on a hill. I know that the priesthood is true and that it works. I love my faith, and I love to help others find the same happiness that I have because of it. I have a testimony that this is the true Church of God on this Earth.

How I live my faith

I love to serve and give my help to others. It makes me extremely happy to forget myself and focus on the people around me. I attend church meetings each week, but I do my best to learn of my Savior every day through reading scriptures, listening to talks given by our Prophets and Apostles, and praying to my Father in Heaven throughout the day. I believe in living the gospel all the time and not just on Sundays. Everywhere I go and everything I do I try to be an example of Christ. I do my best to love everyone and see them as a son or daughter of the living God. I'm a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it. I am about to embark as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, giving 18 months of my life devoted to bringing the light and joy of Christ and His message unto God's children.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Camille
I sought to see if God really is there watching over me. I read my scriptures, went to church, and most important of all I prayed. I have felt his love. I continue to feel his love for me every day: whenever someone says "hi" to me, when I see a sunrise or sunset, when I learn of him, when I see the example of my friends, and much more. I know he is there. Show more Show less
