Hi I'm Kallie

I've grown up in Nampa, Idaho. I am currently serving a mission in Fort Worth, Texas

About Me

I like to do arts and crafts such as; knitting, crocheting, sewing, and scrapbook ink. I like cooking and singing while I work. I like being outdoors, anything outdoors I am willing to do it. I think it's fun to garden, hike, camp, mudding, horseback riding, and just simply playing outside. I like to even mow the yard. NI like to serve others and help lift their burdens. Anything I can do for someone else I am willing to do it. I like to make others happy and just be a complete goofball. Ive been in dance since 7th grade. I was in basketball, softball, track, color guard, I loved playing church volleyball. I have a lot of fun wrestling around with my two younger brothers. I enjoy just simply spending time with others. I love to meet new people and talk to everyone. Everyone has a great story and you can learn so much from others.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up my parents were separated and we weren't that active in the church till I was about 12. When I was old enough to be in the youth group the girls would go to a camp every summer. We would have a testimony meeting and at that point I knew that this was the true church. I could feel the Spirit so strong and I knew the path I was taking was the right path. I may not have always stayed on the right path because we all make mistakes, but I know with all my heart that my Heavenly Father loves me. I can feel that all the time because of the many wonderful blessings I receive and the trials I am blessed to have. He has helped me through so many trials in my life and through it all He has helped me to rely on Him more, love Him with all of my heart, and strengthen the person I am. Also understanding that my Savior has gone through everything that I have gone through or will go through, has helped me a lot as well. I have come to truly know that we can become forgiven of our sins and hand all things over to the Lord. I know as long as I try to be Christlike I will be blessed and the gospel has helped me to follow Christ through the things I am taught. It's so amazing to see how Heavenly Father loves us unconditionally and wants us to return back to Him. That's why it's vital to live the gospel fully, but we only do that after we know the gospel is true. I know that through living the gospel of Jesus Christ we can reach our divine potential and we will have a desire to keep that commandments because we love Heavenly Father, not because we feel like we have to.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days in the Fort Worth Texas mission. I also find it vital to pray to Heavenly Father, read your scriptures, and come to church because that helps you to return back to Heavenly Father. I also loved working with the little kids in my ward. I taught the little three year olds in primary and they are the sweetest kids ever. I know that as we stand as disciples of Jesus Christ that others will notice something different about you. I strive every day to become more Christlike. I know as we get to know our Savior Jesus Christ then we will be able to become more like Him. That helps me to live my faith. There is a quote that I enjoy and it helps me to live my faith; "Obedience is the price Faith is the power The spirit is the key Love is the motive Christ is reason" As I remember those things I feel like the desire I have to live my faith increases.
