Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a college student. I was raised in California. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to dance. I am a college student. I love animals and kids. I will never pass up an offer of food or a chance to hang out with my friends. I am always busy but always happy. I hope some day to travel the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives and that He loves me. I am a Mormon because I know that keeping God's commandments make me happier and helps and strengthens my family. I am a Mormon because I know that just like in Bible times, God has called prophets today to lead us and guide us. I am a Mormon because I know that Joseph Smith was one of these prophets and that the Book of Mormon true and is of God. I know that we each can receive personal revelation from our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my church meetings and serving others. I share my talents to help benefit others. I read my scriptures daily so that I can learn more of Christ. I pray to Christ often so that I can have a strong relationship with Him. I feel Heavenly Father's love for me so I share this love with others. My faith is my lifestyle.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Mormons don't drink coffee, tea, or alcohol because these things can become addictive and not allow one to make thought out choices. They desensitize the body and disturb the body's natural responses. Mormons believe that our bodies are special and need special care. We are taught to eat fruits and vegetables and to exercise. We are taught to get our protein and to not eat a ton of junk food because it isn't good for one's body. Show more Show less
