Hi I'm Seth

I play drums. I love space. hooray. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently at BYU. I'm not sure what my major is yet, but I'm thinking something math or science related. I like music, in fact that's what I spend most of my time doing besides homework. I drum and play piano( not very well compared to my drumming). I also enjoy skiing, seeing as I live in Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

When I've thought about religion, the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints' doctrine just makes the most sense. I feel that it gives the best reasons for us being here on earth and gives the most logical answers to where we came from and where we are going. Even without this though, I know that the church's and Christ's teachings will truly lead me to have a happy life.

How I live my faith

One of my callings in my ward is a home teacher. Pretty much we are assigned a few people who we go around and teach individually and see how they are doing. I think it's great because you get to know a few people who you might not regularly interact with. Service is great.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Missionaries will tell you about our basic beliefs, but they will also be sure to answer any questions you have. There goals should not only be to gain converts to the church but also to inform the world about our beliefs. Some things they may talk about include: the restoration of the gospel (the forming of our church) , the plan of salvation (where we came from, where we are going, how this is all possible), the gospel of Jesus Christ (what steps are needed for salvation).
