Hi I'm Berklee

I grew up in Kaysville Utah. I play lacrosse. I love to hunt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in good ole Kaysville Utah. I played lacrosse and hockey for my highschool and then went to BYU salt lake center for college and redshirted for their lacrosse team. I have always loved the outdoors whether fishing hunting or simply just camping I could never get enough. Currently I am serving a full time mission in the Mississippi Jackson Mission. I come from a very strong LDS family who all love the gospel and everything that comes with it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon cause my parents are members and all my life we have been an active family however I still had to find our for myself that its true. All throught my life I had taken a back seat in religion not really caring about it to much. At about 16 I realized that I needed a testimony of my own but I didnt want to put forth the effort to gain one so I put other things that I wanted to do before what I needed to do. Eventually the time came for me to serve a mission but I still didnt have what I felt I needed. Well for the first week and a half of your mission they send you to this missionary training center where they attempt to train you how to teach people the beliefs of our church. In the mtc I didnt have all the devices I had been using to avoid doing the things I needed to do in order to gain a testimony and finally had to face it. I fell flat on my face more times than I want to remember but I finally started to feel something grow inside me. My time came to an end in the mtc and I got flown to where I am now, Mississippi. In my first 6 weeks I continued to feel the same thing inside getting bigger. Everytime I bore testimony to a stranger and made myself vulnerable that thing grew bigger and I could feel it. Eventually the vulnerability turned into confidence and I knew that I had gained what I once needed but now wanted. I know that this church, The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God and Jesus Christs one and only church organization on the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Book of Mormon is a true book and that by reading it we can come closer to Jesus Christ. I know that God loves each and every one of us and that we are all his spirit children. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for our sins and that he paved the way and made it possible for us to return to live with our Father in Heaven again. And I am so thankfull for all of it.

How I live my faith

Well currently I have been called and set appart as a representative of Jesus Christ. If I wasnt on a mission I would have a church calling that I would serve in, like before my mission I taught the 8-9 year old class at church.
