Hi I'm Victor Belo

I was born in Provo, Utah, raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I study at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Victor and I'm 18 years old. I'm a college student and I'm serving a mission in Salvador, Bahia (Brazil). I lived in Brazil for 7 years, which means I know Portuguese and I love soccer. But more than soccer, I love music, mainly Jazz, Blues and current music. I've been a member of the LDS church since I was 8.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I constantly feel that the LDS church teaches Christ's true Gospel. Have you ever felt like you're just where you need to be? I feel that as a Mormon. I feel like I would be a completely different person if I weren't a Mormon. This church teaches me that I'm free to make my own choices regarding how my life will turn out. Isn't that great?? I'm blessed to know that we have a living Prophet and that God speaks to us today. I know that Christ died for me and that, because of Him, I can be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

In my church I try to serve others. I try to help those around me and I try to be friendly and make people comfortable. That's probably the best thing in church, the opportunity to lift people up and make them feel like they matter. Every month, I visit a family and it's so great to get to know them a little better every visit and to learn how to help them.
