About Me

I serving as a missionary for the Church of Latter-Day Saints in the Louisville, Kentucky mission. I am so grateful for this calling to serve and to have this gospel in my life. I love helping and and meeting so many new and wonderful people while I am serving here in the Kentucky, Louisville area. I love helping others come unto Christ and having a busy day filled with so much dedication and service. We come out to teach and to help others grow. In turn, we learn and grow ourselves! Its the people we meet that make it all worth it. Because we are all brothers and sisters of our heavenly father and we are meeting more of our heavenly brothers and sisters ever day. I am currently majoring in Family and Consumer Science. I enjoy musical theater, singing, writing songs, sewing, crafts, dancing, listening to music, meeting new friends, etc. I come from a large family of nine.I am number five. I have five sisters (four of which are married) and one brother and an adorable niece and nephew. When I return from my mission, I plan on continuing my studies in Family and Consumer Science at BYU-I.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that this is a righteous life that truly guides and uplifts me. I know that I have a strong testimony in Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and and all his children. He has a plan for all of us. He wants us to be able to return to him. His plan allows us to learn and to grow. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints brings me joy in my life. I feel so much love, strength and guidance from my Heavenly Father as I read the scriptures to gain knowledge and as I pray for strength and direction. Being a Mormon brings me so much peace, understanding and love of life. I don't know where I would be without Heavenly Father's true gospel today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply doing it! As a representative and missionary of Jesus Christ, I make it a goal to reach out to others and try to share the gospel with those whom we meet and see.I like to share our faith by teaching more people about the Book of Mormon and how it has blessed me in my life as well as my family. I know that the Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ and by studying it we can find ways to become more like Jesus Christ. I live my faith by also praying for and with people that we meet. I know that when we pray we are truly able to experience and feel Heavenly Father's peace and blessings in our lives. On a daily basis, I study out of the Book and Mormon to help strengthen my faith in and understanding of Jesus Christ and the aspects of the gospel. I know that studying the scriptures will help me to truly be able to learn and grow here on earth. I try to encourage others to do these things so that in time they can truly feel the influence of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the holy spirit in their life.
