Hi I'm Amy Blumel

I'm the oldest of five children. I am currently serving in the North Carolina Raleigh mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love spending time with people. Especially my family and friends. I'm soft spoken and thus, I'm an excellent listener and I love being there for others. I try my best to look at the bright side of everything and I'm generally a happy person because of that. I love to smile and have a good time. I love the LDS church with all my heart and my faith is strong. I also love to read and write and I love music.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church to amazing, strong parents who have a love for the gospel like none other. I know that this gospel is true because of the feelings that I get from it. The peace, joy, and comfort I feel when I'm doing the right things and living the gospel principles is witness enough for me. In the LDS church, I know and love that it's never too late to come back. Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children and He wants them to return to Him and through His son, Jesus Christ and the Atonement, we are all given endless opportunities to try and try again. I have a strong testimony of the LDS church and it has only given me strength and guidance, happiness and joy, and feelings that I can't even describe. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I love the feeling of losing myself and focusing on the person/people that I'm serving. I also love learning about the gospel. I have come to the understanding that the LDS church is somewhere where you never stop learning and I love that. I try my best to read my scriptures regularly and I make church a priority in my life. Most of all, I just try to be a good example to those around me.
