Hi I'm Brant McDermott

Howdy. My name is Brant. I grew up in Utah mostly. I like hunting/fishing and long walks on the beach.

About Me

I am strong, muscular and handsome. I enjoy hunting fishing and camping as well as mechanical learning and projects. I like to work on cars as a hobby but REALLY don't want to do it for a living. I'm not in school yet but plan to be as soon. My school plans are to start with machining and finish with economics. After that it is hopefully law school. It's a weird plan but a good one.

Why I am a Mormon

Baptised at the age of 25, yet having been a believer for many years, I am a Mormon because the truth was revealed to me by the spirit and that process of revelation is the foundation of my life. Missionaries of the church (two Sisters in particular) played a big part in my "conversion". They came as a reminder to me that joining the church officially was a priority and that I shouldn't be stalling. Thanks Sister missionaries.

How I live my faith

I am a new member in the church, that is, as far as the perspective of others besides myself or some family members. People who know me well understand that I have always been a member of the church, though not in the traditional sense. I am set apart but have been instructed through inspiration to join my fellow believers. You wouldn't get it. What is most important and most personal to us is rarely understood by others.
