Hi I'm Caleb Bright

Dragons are real(hopefully). Friendship is magic. Truth is a real thing. Owl-Bears are nice. I'm Oregonian. I am a "Mormon."

About Me

I grew up in a tiny farming town in the Oregon mountains with my mom and dad and my two sisters. I used to think I was born in the wrong century. I've always thought old civilizations were the coolest thing. But I've realized this one is pretty great to live in as well.

Why I am a Mormon

We have a Father in Heaven, He's an awesome God. I have found more of His goodness in my life by embracing His teachings in "Mormonism." I cannot conceive of a more beautiful plan.

How I live my faith

Seems to me that living your faith is kind of hard. But always worth it. I just have to keep reminding myself. If I don't I'll slack off.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Caleb Bright
Family is important because there is so much work to be done there. It is the best place to learn the patterns of righteousness and the truths about God and our relationship to him. It is the best place for children to be raised in love and understanding. It is the best place for men and women to find joy in each other and learn to serve. Not everything is going to go according to plan. Not everything that happens will be what maybe should have happened. But with a love of God and obedience to His commandments, we can create a righteous family. And that family can be together through ever through the ordinances of the Holy Temple. Because it can be forever if we all work together in it, that makes it important to me. Show more Show less
