Hi I'm Jaydon

I've grown up and lived in Utah. I'm going to serve a full-time mission in Osorno, Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports and athletics. I love to play any sport especially basketball. I've played basketball my whole life and will play college basketball after my mission. I love being in the outdoors. I enjoy being out in mountains, and I especially enjoy it with my family. We love to go hunting and fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and have always been apart of it. My parents have done a great job with my siblings and I. They have taught us that if we read and pray everyday, we will be blessed. They hold family prayer and scripture study on a daily basis with us, and we have family home evening every Monday night. If I didn't grow up with the family I've been blessed with, then I don't know where I would be. When I really wanted to know if the church was true for myself, I decided I needed to read the Book of Mormon. So that's what I did. I finished it and asked my Father in Heaven if it were true. I learned that day that this Church is true. I know it is. The Book of Mormon is the word of God. Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and translated the Book of Mormon. I know we have a living prophet on the earth today who receives revelation and guidance for the church. I am so grateful for this gospel and the atonement. The atonement is an amazing thing and I am eternally grateful for it. I know this church is true and I love it.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live what I believe in everyday. I am over my quorum/group in my ward. I try to serve all the young men in my quorum to the best of my abilities. I try to provide as much service to those in my ward that need it. If Christ were on the earth, he would be serving those people, so that's what I try to do. I especially look out for my families that I home teach and try to make sure their needs are met.
