Hi I'm Tyler

I'm just your average guy from California, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I attended college beforehand and intend to return after serving for 2 years. I have done years and years of theatre and performance; I love to sing, dance, act, and also have a musical background in both vocal and orchestral music, with years of singing and playing the viola. I've played as many sports as I could, love to go outside and be active, and absolutely love to play soccer, frisbee, football, anything, you name it! I'll hike a mountain, go rollerblading, mountain biking, swimming, boating, it doesn't matter! I am just a fun-loving guy who loves his friends, loves meeting new people, loves his family, and loves his God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That's me in a nutshell.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have an unyielding belief and faith in my Savior Jesus Christ and in my Heavenly Father, which I have gained through the Holy Ghost. I have received my own personal confirmation of the truth and validity of this Gospel restored on the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith, that the priesthood power and keys have been restored to this earth in this dispensation, in this day and age, and that the Book of Mormon is a divinely inspired book of scripture comparable to the Bible which testifies of Jesus Christ from the record of the people of ancient America, which was translated by Joseph Smith by the power of God. I have a love for all of my brothers and sisters on this earth, for all of the children of our Heavenly Father, and I wish to let all of them know of this truth that I have found. This is why I am a Mormon. It is because I love my Heavenly Father, my Savior Jesus Christ, and I love my fellow man.

How I live my faith

In living my faith I love to reach out to those who need a helping hand. Regardless of my assignment in the church, I am a firm believer in keeping my eyes and heart open to the needs of others. Finding those who need a helping hand, just need a hug, a thoughtful card, or just need to laugh and feel important, that is what I feel is very important. Living a life full of love and laughter, and a life in harmony with the teachings and gospel of Jesus Christ is how I live my faith. I wouldn't have it any other way.
