Hi I'm Paul

I'm a city planner. I love my wife and kids, and they bring me a lot of joy. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have five adult kids and twelve grandchildren, and I love spending time with them. Recently, two daughters and I took a stained glass class together, and I have enjoyed developing this new skill. I've had a career in city planning and revitalizing older areas of cities. In recent years, my wife and I have found great fulfillment in assisting refugees to settle in our community and enjoy new blessings which they previously were denied. Now, as I approach retirement, I look forward to new opportunities to bless others.

Why I am a Mormon

When my ancestors learned of the gospel of Jesus Christ, they sacrificed a lot to have it in their lives and in the lives of their children. I will be eternally grateful for their faithfulness and the blessings it has brought me generations later. I have a firm conviction that the principles they sacrificed to live by came from God, and so these principles are both true and important, and I feel great responsibility to be a strong link in the chain between those who came before me and those who will follow me.

How I live my faith

As a young man, I was able to serve a voluntary, two-year church mission in Austria. Throughout nearly 40 years of marriage, my wife and I have looked forward to the day when together we could devote ourselves to fulltime service to God and His children. We are thrilled to soon see this desire fulfilled as we serve in Russia!
