Hi I'm Abram Moats

I grew up in Pennsylvania, and am the oldest child and grandchild. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old, and have recently been called to serve a mission in the Salt Lake City area. After my mission, I plan to study mathematics and international business at Columbia University in New York City. I am a runner, and enjoy running because the harder you train, the better you will perform.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon ultimately because my parents were wise enough to give me of the truth and light they had received. I am thankful to them for doing so. As I have matured, I have sought more and more to know for myself that the doctrines and teachings of the Mormon church are true. I have received feelings of comfort and peace that have convinced me that these teachings, especially those found in the Book of Mormon, are true and correct, and that God created them to help his children find their way back.

How I live my faith

Up until recently, I have lived my faith by fulfilling the callings given to me on the ward level. I have visited with members of the ward to assist them in meeting their needs, have served as a leader in youth organizations, and have helped prepare the sacrament during our weekly Sabbath meetings. In the future, I am excited to be able to serve a full time mission to help bring souls unto Christ.
