Hi I'm Branden

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I love to bike. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up my whole life playing sports. I loved to play baseball and football. When I got into high school I started mountain biking and loved it! I also enjoy road biking. One of the coolest things about biking is that it is something that you can do together with your family. I love my family! I have two brothers and two sisters who are all older than me. In fact my closest sibling in age to me is 7 years older than me. My oldest brother is 18 years older than me. I was born his senior year in high school. My family is spaced out in age, but I love to be able to see and follow their examples. As a family we enjoy spending time together. All though all of us are grown up we take time to be together. Almost every sunday we still have family dinner together with my siblings and their spouses. We also love to camp together, mountain bike, and travel. I had the opportunity recently to travel to China with my dad and it was the coolest trip that I have ever been able to experience!

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the opportunity to grow up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been able to feel the spirit within my home. I have also been able to attend church and feel the spirit there. One of the best ways that I have been able to feel the spirit is as I have been able to read the Book of Mormon and other scriptures from our heavenly father. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it testifies of Christ. As you make an effort to read the Book of Mormon to know if it is true you can find out for yourself. Having a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought joy to my life even through the toughest of challenges. I know that Jesus Christ is the head of this church and that he loves me and all of his children and wants us to come unto him. He has atoned and suffered for our sins so that we can have the opportunity to repent and come unto him.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church I have had the opportunity to have callings and responsibilities in the church. I have been able to be a leader within groups or quorums that I have been a part of. I have been able to get to be a leader of those who are my age and have been able to learn and get to know them better and build friendships as well as learn how to be a better leader and how to organize, plan, and carry out activities. I now have the opportunity to serve as a full time missionary. For the next two years I will be serving in California and am excited for the opportunity I have to learn, teach and serve. I can't wait to serve and hope to be able to help those that I serve to have a better life and to be able to find more joy!
