Hi I'm Christine

I am a copper top. I love second chances and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a country red-head who loves singing wherever she goes. I love napping in the sun and dancing in the rain. I absolutely adore little children and hope to be a mother someday. I've participated in many plays and musicals throughout my high school years and cannot fathom a world without music. Laughing is my favorite hobby. I crave long runs during the early mornings as much as I crave a good strawberry shake with a side french fries. I am a hopeless romantic. I love to share a smile and leave someone feeling better than they were before. I love my Heavenly Father more than anything in this world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My mom was converted when she was only fifteen and my dad, like me, was born into the church. They both continue to be faithfully active in the church today. I am forever indebted to them for having such powerful testimonies and raising me to have righteous standards. However, there came a time where I strongly desired to know for myself whether this church was the true church. I wanted to know whether the Book of Mormon was from God like my parents had always taught me. My testimony did not come all at once like some might expect. It came gradually. Through studying the Book of Mormon, my testimony grew a little here and a little there as the Holy Ghost bore witness to me that the words I read were true. Finally, I knelt down in prayer after finishing the book to ask Heavenly Father whether it was all true. Peace filled my whole being and a voice entered my mind saying that I already knew it was the true church. Since that time, my testimony has grown even stronger those different experiences and trials. I know this is this is Jesus Christ's church restored again here upon the earth. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God along with the Bible. I know Jesus Christ lived and died for me on the cross and there is nothing in the world that can tell me differently. This is the true church and gospel!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating actively in my ward. I've been called to a position where I often meet new faces and people who are searching for the truth. I learn so much from those I meet and I am very humbled to enter their extraordinary lives. I also work with the youth. We plan activities weekly that may involve community service or learning a new skill that will benefit them later in life. It's a very rewarding calling.
