Hi I'm Camille Nelson

I'm an athlete. I'm a student. I'm an aunt. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My favorite things all involve being outside. I grew up going boating every summer and snow skiing every winter. I have played quite a few sports but my favorite is soccer. I also enjoy hiking and going on new adventures. I love to challenge myself both physically and mentally. I hardly ever back down from a challenge. I am a student at Brigham Young University where I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. I want to give every child the opportunity to recieve an education. I have been greatly blessed in my life and want to share these blessings with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the blessings that come from following our Heavenly Father. My life, my families lives, and my friends lives have all been blessed from being a member of this church. More importantly than blessings, I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it is true. I have received a witness that I cannot deny of its truthfulness. I feel peace and joy as I attend church and follow the guidance of the prophet. I love the way this gospel makes me feel. I know that I am a daughter of God. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that one day I will be able to return and live with Him. This knowledge has brought me peace and comfort throughout my life. Because of this knowledge I never again have to feel alone.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow God's commandments every day. I do this by praying and reading scriptures daily. I have faith that God has a plan for me and if I am righteous and willing to follow Him I will be blessed. Another way I am living my faith right now is by choosing to serve a mission. I am currently serving a full time mission in Carlsbad California where I not only get to live my faith but I also get to share it with others every day.
