Hi I'm Sam Humpherys

I'm an accountant. I love comedy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student studying accounting. I love stand up comedy and making people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony of the Church stems from my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I read the Book of Mormon several times in my youth with my family and by myself. I always felt good when I read the Book of Mormon. One day I say a television documentary about the Church and it was very pointed against the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith. Much of that night was spent on my floor staring at my ceiling fan trying to decide whether or not I believe in the Book of Mormon. After much study and prayer I received and answer from God, through the Holy Ghost, that the Book of Mormon is true. I have felt that same answer come to me again and again as I participate in the Church.

How I live my faith

I love to be with other people and help build them up. On campus I am part of the activities program that helps students identify, strengthen, and perform their talents. I have organized several events on campus, and I have always enjoyed seeing students having fun at one of my events. I have been called to several different callings in the church. All of them have made me stretch myself an open up to those around me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Sam Humpherys
We are Christians. We believe in Jesus Christ and strive to follow his teachings. We believe that Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane and died on the cross for the sins and suffering for all of mankind. We believe that Christ rose again after his death, and that because of Christ we will all rise again after death. Christ is our Savior and this is His Church. He organized His Church when He was on the earth, and His Church has been reorganized again in our day through the prophet Joseph Smith. Show more Show less
