Hi I'm Carolyn

I am a wife, and mother. We are a part-member family. I love running, photography, creating things. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

At this stage of life I am a wife and mother! I was born in CA, raised in UT, schooled in VA, now calling NY home with my 4 kids and husband. My dad had a stroke when I was 6 years old. Fortunately he and my mother had taught us the Gospel of Jesus Christ from our earliest days. Our family clung to that truth and found strength there as we grew together. I grew up with a handicapped father and a working mother in a strong family unit! I am a passionate person, I love and do many things! I am always readjusting to find balance! I love photography, running, home decor, crafting, dancing and sunshine! I enjoy blogging and have an online store (ccmcafeeperspective.com)! My family are my everything, and being a mother is my greatest joy!

Why I am a Mormon

The restored gospel of Jesus Christ quenches my thirst to know truth. There is a part of human nature that wants to exceed, to surpass. Inside this gospel is the constant opportunity to better the person I am becoming. As I strive for that, and continue to change who I am, I am rewarded with an intimate knowledge of my Savior, as he picks up pieces I can't hold, fills in gaps I can't see, sustains when I can't stand, heals when I break, comforts when I hurt, and fills my soul with joy when I obey. I have faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and it affects all facets of my life, as faith should. Put simply, this gospel makes me happy! It makes sense to my mind, resonates with my soul and makes me feel whole and complete.

How I live my faith

Our faith affects so much of our lives right? Because of what I believe, I choose to live a certain way. You can see how I live my faith in the clothing I choose, the words I say, how I treat and take care of my body. I hope you can see my faith in how I treat and take care of others, by the light that shines in my eyes. I maintain my faith by studying my scriptures (I keep an online journal of that too... ccmcafeescriptures.blogspot.com/), praying, talking about what I believe, finding answers to my questions, going to the temple, and to church each Sunday. Currently I teach the women of my ward, on Sunday's. I love to teach! I love studying and talking about the gospel!
