Hi I'm Joshua Bernal

I grew up in Tijuana, Baja California. I've moved to Clearfield, Utah with my family. I'm a missionary now, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a son of a fine family in which I'm thankful my Heavenly Father has sent me to the household of which I live in and bond with more of his heavenly children. I love to play video games and work on homework. More recently I've tried my hand on computer sciences and interactive entertainment, along with arts and choir, and I've enjoyed every bit. I'm currently now on my mission after graduating high school and I've been able to learn more temporal and spiritual skills that will help me as I progress in this life, and as I've now arrived at this point in my life I can truly promise that listening to parents will lengthen our time on earth.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to live the Gospel because of the understanding and friendship that their members share with me. I am grateful for all that I've learned and for the fellowship I have been given to live in this world of questions. I now know as I've come to my mission that a very important principle that we hold dear is that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are testaments of Christ's gospel and are meant to witness each other in truth and divinity. I testify that the books compliment and add to the Gospel; for the Lord has not left us on our own, but given another set of instructions and truths to guide us again to our Heavenly Father. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, that it is truly another testament of Jesus Christ; with all of the witnesses of the ancient American Prophets, and all the additional teachings He has given through His prophets, which are good. It is through the prophet Joseph Smith Jr.’s obedience and valiant faith that have kept the restored Gospel in these latter days from leaving earth again in general apostasy. I leave you with the keystone of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and with the promise that this book will change your life for the better with the faith that there is more to life than us living here; that there is a divine purpose, and that we are being tested to uphold our God’s legacy in the next life. Ask Him in faith to know if what I and many have testified is not true, and through your feelings and thoughts; inspired by the Holy Ghost, can know truth. I leave you with my testimony in the name of our beloved Redeemer and Lord, even Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I've now recently been training as a missionary and have been attending sacrament meetings every Sunday. As my previous responsibility, I've been taking home-bound sacraments to the widows and infirm in the ward I serve and have found great love and charity as I've performed this task. My principal calling is an Elder, and am serving the Lord in his work; to bring a message of happiness and hope to those who look for the light and knowledge of our existence.
