Hi I'm Emily

I from Arizona. I have traveled throughout the world. I'm a band geek. I'm a full out science nerd. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm fifteen years old and I love music. I play the piano, trumpet, trombone and the tuba. I'm in the marching band at my high school where I play the contra tuba. When I was 9, my family and I moved to China and stayed there for 2 years for my dad's work. I love to travel. We've gone from Bali, Indonesia, to Rome, Italy. I love school. I love science. I'm a straight A student. I love to scrapbook. I like to make smoothies, and pancakes, and sugar-free peanut-butter cookies. My life's a little bit crazy, but through the Lord, I have it all together.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love this gospel. My family is Mormon. My grandparents are Mormon. But I am for myself, not because anyone told me to. I find joy and peace through the Church.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly. I enjoy going to mutual once a week. I always try to set a good example while I'm at school so that others will get a positive feeling about the Church. Even though those around me might not believe in the same things that I do, I don't let that stop me from living my religion. When confronted about being "too Mormon," I took it as a compliment, that people notice that I'm different. Because I have the light and truth that comes from the gospel. And by the way, Seminary is the best place to be. Ever. Hands down.
