Hi I'm Diane

I'm an artist, a seamstress, and a Mormon.

About Me

I have five children, all grown up, and nine grandchildren. I am divorced which is sad, but I am happy that I have my family around me and the church. For a job I do alterations and repairs in a dry cleaners. What I would really like to do is be an artist, I really enjoy drawing and painting.

Why I am a Mormon

I came into contact with the church when two very cold-looking missionaries knocked on our door one February afternoon. We invited them in, and listened to their message, after they left we talked about how strange they were and we were a bit dubious about their message, but we had agreed to meet with them again. After a few weeks we attended church. As soon as we walked through the door and felt a wonderful feeling, I think that is when I really felt this was true, and that I wanted to join. Over the years I have had difficult times, but I have always felt Heavenly Father's love and that strengthes me. I am so thankful for the many blessings I have.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the churc hfor about 38 years. I have had many callings, teaching in Sunday School, President of Primary (which is for children 18 months to 12 years, President of Youth (they are great, fun to work with), and teacher in Relief Society (this is for the women of the church 18 and over). Each calling teaches me so much, I love to serve.
