Hi I'm Chris

I grew up in San Diego, California. I'm a surfboard polisher. I'm a singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy singing, and started singing in my school's chamber choir at the beginning of my senior year. In February 2014, I was one of the leads in my school musical, Little Women, and that sparked my interest in musical theater and choir music. I have worked as a surfboard polisher for my father's surfboard company since April 2013 and have surfed since then as well. I have received my Eagle Scout Award, and have loved participating in the scouting program since I was eight years old. I love surfing because it is a great stress reliever, and I like working with surfboards. I've been accepted to Brigham Young University and plan to serve an honorable full-time mission in Chihuahua, Mexico in August 2014.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, our Savior. I have a strong testimony that as I abide by God's teachings and keep His commandments, He blesses me. I love serving others, and the Church has provided me with many ways to serve and lead. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the same church that was organized by Christ when He was on the earth, and that it was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. I follow His gospel with faith, hope, charity, and love.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, early morning seminary on school-days, youth group activities every week, and I'm in my church's choir. I have been a youth leader for young men ages sixteen to eighteen and have been involved with planning many activities and high adventure trips.
