Hi I'm Jim Goldade

My future wife introduced me to The Book of Mormon. Now I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town. I love sports, graduated from college, enjoy my work and have been married for over 25 years. My wife and I have two son's serving missions and one daughter who is still in high school.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people have asked me why I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I tell them one thing. I have the opportuntiy to be with my family for time and all eternity. When my wife and I were dating she introduced me to The Book of Mormon and what Mormon's believe. As our relationship moved from the dating to the serious phase I had to ask myself do I really want to be without her after death visits us and what about our future children. Over twenty five years later I thank the Lord for bringing my wife into my life and the change it has brought about in me. If you want to be with your loved ones after death find out what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has to teach about this. I know this Church is true. I know I can be with my wife and family for time and all eternity. Jesus Christ lives today and wants us to be with Him. He wants our families to be with Him. Take this challenge to find out if it is true. Ask a Mormon you know, a missionary or do it on line to find out about the Plan of Salvation. You maybe surprised. It changed my life, it could change yours.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith each day. At Church I am a leader in our Young Men's program (12-18 year olds). It is important to be a good example for these young men. I need to live by the lessons I teach them. People at work admire me for my integrity and honesty. I am involved with Boy Scouts at the troop and distrtict level. Scouting and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have many similar approaches to raising young men. I am proud to be a member of this Church and to be involved with the development of future missionaires as well as future Church, business and civic leaders.
