Hi I'm Jessica Capitan

I'm Navajo, my life evolves around art&boarding. Now my duty is too the Lord in the Idaho Boise Mission. #represent. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I run. I fish. I draw. I paintball. I eat food. I love "Indie" music. I give people snack names. And I'm a Mormon! And most important I love my best friend of all time Jesus Christ. I put him in my life a year and a half ago and I will never abandoned him ever again. For the longest time I didn't understand myself and my relationship with God. Just that he was there but I was being stupid. I just put myself in that situation where I didn't want a relationship with him, until well now. I'm me again. I am Native American, I grew up on the Navajo Reservation with my grand-folks. Because of my personal conversion to God again and this gospel my dad has joined me in April of 2015. And together we build a relationship on our Savior. Who I am and who I have become wouldn't have happened if I didn't allow God to be apart of my life once more. I refuse to separate myself from him. Right now I am serving in the Idaho Boise Mission and love every second of it. I always tell myself "one day" because anything can happen in one day. I'm all about trying new things, so bring on the hippy grease. I love adventuring new music, eating pickle seeds on a long road trip, skating through open roads, and buzzing into peoples lives like a little fly that you just can't kill. I've enjoyed life to know that the trials I went through only made me stronger. After my mission LDS Business College better be ready for this girl.

Why I am a Mormon

I know Jesus Christ is always there for me. I never knew this before at some point in anyones lives their will be a downfall where you feel so alone and are in need for someone to feel the pain you felt and go through a painful situation. At some point in my life that was me but I found comfort in the Savior all I needed to do was meet him halfway and find my inner Holy Ghost, and to do that I needed to be more like him. I testify that this gospel is true that any challenge in life you face he can guide you in situations where you feel most helpless. God and his Son Jesus Christ are always by your side as long as you walk in his foot steps and follow the people he choose to lead you. I know Thomas S. Monson is the living Prophet today and he has been chosen by god to lead us his people. It's the beautiful gift of life he has given us and through Jesus Christ Atonement we can live with him again. In this gospel their is no ending its everlasting.

How I live my faith

By just trying to be a good example. I have two younger sisters and a ton of family who are not members. So I just trying to do the right thing. And right now I am doing that by serving in the Boise Idaho Mission. Love my mission and I know the Lord will bless me as my journey continues on.
