Hi I'm Alana Te Rangi

Born and raised in New Zealand I'm from a small town called Turangi. I love my life I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im from a small town in Turangi, to me it is the most beautiful place on earth, I am so lucky to be surround by lakes, rivers mountains and snow. I enjoy the outdoors swimming running and sports

Why I am a Mormon

I'm so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, it helps me in everyday life, lessons that are taught by my teachers at church apply to things I do everyday like service being kind and being grateful, I enjoy living the gospel because it makes me different from others, they know my standards and respect my morals and it makes me feel good knowing I don't have to be doing what every else does. Its an amazing feeling knowing heavenly father is always there and he loves us all unconditionally, my family are so blessed, because of the good choices we make and I know this church is true and im so grateful for the gospel in my life I don't know where I would be without it. It brings comfort knowing the truth and knowing Im a daughter of God, and im grateful to have the opportunity to be a missionary for the Lord to do his work. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

When I was 16 years old I was called as the Primary president in our branch, my responsibility was to help the children learn and grow spiritually. I was very shocked and surprised I was called to such a big responsibility but I loved every bit of it. It was the biggest blessing in my life because it gave me the opportunity to learn as well, from that experience it has encouraged me too do visiting teaching, to get out of my comfort zone and share the gospel with my friends. I know my calling has also had a big influence to why I wanted to serve a mission, I think having the opportunity to help others and teach them about the church is the most honourable thing I could ever do in my life.
