Hi I'm Briana

I LOVE music! I love to learn. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a college student. I am majoring in music education, and I hope one day to teach private vocal lessons. Despite my love of music, my favorite classes that I take are not actually on campus, they are across the street at the LDS Institute building. While music is something I'm passionate about and constantly trying to better myself at, my testimony is that times a thousand. I love learning about my Savior and His gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the gospel. I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and that all that is contained in it comes from Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith was the first prophet of this dispensation, and that Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet today. I know that living worthily is important and that the Church's guidelines will always keep me on the path toward eternal happiness. I know that because my parents were sealed in the temple, I can be together with them and the rest of my family if we all live worthily.

How I live my faith

I attend my local Young Single Adult Ward, where I strive to magnify my callings. I attend institute classes, where I learn more about the Savior and His gospel. I strive daily to make myself better. I hope one day to have my own eternal family, and that hope helps me to overcome trials that might prevent me from achieving my goals.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is inspired doctrine that gives us guidelines about keeping our bodies healthy. It gives us a list of things that we should not put into our bodies, as well as examples of things we should. It reminds us that exercise is important, and that we should treat our bodies as temples and not put anything on them that would disgrace them. Show more Show less
