Hi I'm Travis

I grew up in Hurricane, UT. I am serving as a missionary in Tampico, Mexico. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've played football and soccer in high school for the last 4 years and I'm planning to attend Utah State University after my mission. I work with my dad as an auto mechanic (so I do a lot of oil changes). I hang out with my friends almost as much as possible doing things like playing pickle ball, playing video games, and swimming (when it's warm enough).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and so I've always taken a lot of parts of the gospel for granted. A couple of years ago, I found myself in a position where I knew that I shouldn't be, and I had a very difficult time getting out of it, but the peace and safety that I've felt while living the gospel is incredible. I have yet to find any group of people who are so helpful and loving than those who are members of the LDS church.

How I live my faith

I am a youth leader in my ward and help to plan and coordinate different activities and service projects that we do. As a ward we go camping several times a year and we always find some way to serve other people who will be visiting the campsites later. We do things like cut and stack fire wood, clean the campsite, and sometimes even build helpful structures like tool racks. I am also a home teacher and enjoy visiting with, teaching, and serving the families who I home teach.
