Hi I'm Elyse Kasparian

I grew up in California. I am one of six kids in my family. I love life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California, I enjoying bonfires at the beach and seeing the sights in Hollywood. I graduated from high school in 2013 and now attend Brigham Young University, Idaho. I plan to go into Psychology when I get back from a full time mission for the LDS church. I have been called to serve in the Armenia Yerevan Mission. I leave August of 2014 and come back March of 2016. I am diligently preparing for the wonderful opportunities I will have in a few short months. I want to fill my life with adventure! I also want to have a family when I am a little older. Children make me so happy and I love them all!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the happiness I receive from it. The gospel of Jesus Christ blesses my life in a way that I have to know it is true. I have been thankful all my life for the teachings I have learned. I love taking the sacrament every sunday because I know what it means. I love feeling clean and renewed every week. I want everyone to feel like that. That is part of the reason why I have chosen to serve a mission. I want to share my testimony with people so that they might feel closer to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in ways that are pleasing to my Father in Heaven. I enjoy serving others, teaching others, and learning from others. I serve as a Gospel Doctrine teacher in a singles ward in Idaho. I love it so much! There is a special feeling I get when I teach and when others understand the concepts I am sharing. I also, like I have said before, am preparing to serve a full time mission for my church this year. I live my gospel so that others can see it. I would not have it any other way.
