Hi I'm Paula

I am a Mormon. I like it, I love it, I live it!

About Me

Hi, my name is Paula I am a Preschool Teacher during the day and over night I am a CNA. So as you see I work with the younger and older generation. The reason I work so hard is to accomplish the things in my life that I need to take care of then I hope to slow down and work on having a family one day. I am preparing for my future. When I have time I love to bowl on a league with friends, catch up on my shows, spend time with family or enjoy listening to music.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a convert August 15th 2009. I was introduced to the church by my best friend during a time when I needed strength the most. The Book Of Mormon gave me hope for my future and helped me to get through some very hard trials in my life. When I go through trials I have learned to pray for help and have faith to endure the things that are going on. It is during these times I learn and grow the most. As I continue to grow in the church I am becoming a much better person and member so I can help others the way people have helped me. I can honestly say that I love the church and the people I have met, the lessons I have learned and what the Book Of Mormon has brought to my life. I continue to follow this gospel because I know that this book is true and it will bring grate joy in your life. I am grateful to know I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and remember he loves all of his children and wants to hear from you. I hope you will take the time to pray and ponder to know for yourself and I leave that with you in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday to be uplifted and feel the Saviors Love and to learn the gospel. When there are activities for the sisters or families to come to I help other people with planning and getting things set up. During these activities is a good time to get to know each other. We as a ward help each other when we need it. That has always been so nice to know that I can count on the people in the church. All the sisters are assigned with another person to visit 2 to 3 sisters each month to go see how they are doing and to share a message. I know through serving others it can bring so much joy in there lives and in our own. I have grown and learned so much from serving other people. It has been a big blessing to me. I am so grateful for the people I have met and for the love we have for each other.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Paula
When I first became a member of the church I did not pay tithing I always heard from other people if you pay your tithing it will bless you and your family. After 2 years of being a member I decided that to know for myself if this was true I needed to have faith and pay an honest tithing each month, I have been doing this for 3 years now and I can tell you it has been a big blessing in my life. You will be amazed when you start to recognize all of your blessing. Show more Show less
