Hi I'm Cassidy

I have divorced parents, I love service, basketball, painting, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love art. I can paint, draw, photograph anything that lets me create something that is beautiful and apart of my soul. I am currently going to school for Early Childhood Education in hopes to travel around the world and teach English. I love the sport of basketball! I love to watch it and play it recreationally too. I love to watch movies, eat chocolate, and laugh. I laugh at pretty much anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to follow this gospel because it provides a safe shelter. It gives me peace and joy. I know my creator loves me more than I can imagine. He has blessed me with so many wonderful opportunities and I am very grateful. He suffered for me because he loves me just for who I am. I can always turn to him for peace, guidance, comfort, and direction. I grew up learning about the church but was never truly converted until I hit college. I have had many difficult trials while at college and Christ is the only person who understands and holds me while I cry. I realized that this gospel is like nothing else. It gives me the strength I need to get through the day, it gives me true joy, it is who I am inside and out. I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I like to do service whether it is through the church or with a volunteer program. I believe that when I serve it can draw me close to the Savior. I also participate in the planned activities at church where I can bond and make new friendships with people who share the same beliefs as I do.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is like being wrapped in a warm blanket. It provides a safe shelter from the worldly things. I have discovered joy with this gospel. Has it been easy? No, we all have struggles and challenges but that is one reason why we came to Earth. To learn and be tested. I know where I have come from and I know where I am going to go, that provides me with the greatest comfort. Show more Show less
