Hi I'm Morgan

Hi! I grew up in Washington DC. I love music. And I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have played the piano for 15 years and I love performing for others especially in Care Centers and church! I also enjoy photography, biking, hiking, and archery. An interesting fact about me is that last year I developed epilepsy (I had seizures), but through a lot of prayer and work, my parents and I were able to cure my disease ! Yay for the guidance of the Spirit and modern medication. :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon, but my parents did not force me to get baptized. I chose to be a Mormon and continue to choose to be a Mormon everyday because I know it's true! I could leave the church, but I know that if I did I would not be as happy, and I would lose the my testimony of Christ's Atonement, his love, and God's plan for us. The gospel teaches me my purpose in life and how to combat trails that will attempt to make me lose sight of that purpose. I know that the gospel is the only way we can return to our Heavenly Father and that is where I want to go! I know that we have a true and living prophet that speaks directly from God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith - under the direction of God through the Holy Ghost - restored the true Gospel that Jesus Christ set up when he lived on the earth. I will never leave the gospel because I know it's true!!!

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a family home evening group leader in my ward. This involves planning activities that help increase the friendship, unity, and spiritually of the members in my group. I know that the Lord chose me for this calling and I live my faith by doing my best to fulfill this calling to honor him. I love the members of my group and always feel God's love for them as well. I believe that everyone is a son or daughter of God and therefore a brother or sister to me, so I should treat them as such. I live my faith my doing my best to be Christ-like to those around me, no matter my relationship with those people.
