Hi I'm Michaella Allyse Eddington

I was born into this world with a purpose; to a family that sacrifices everything for me. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was a child, my parents always encouraged me to do my best and to follow my dreams and as I grow to be older, I now understand that I can make my dreams happen through our loving Father in Heaven. My siblings (2 brothers and 1 sister) taught me to be tough and to never take "no" for an answer; they taught me to have the determination to love others no matter what they look like, how they treat me, or even if they didn't believe in what I believe in. Throughout life, I have always enjoyed the outdoors; the smells, sounds, feeling of the fresh air rolling in my lungs. Anything that I like to do, I like to do outside, but only if it's warm. I have had three years of college under my belt and I still feel like there is so much more out there that I don't know about. I am still young, but I know that there is more out there for me, just like there is always more out there for you.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is meant to be difficult. It's meant to tear you down, hurt you, break you and I think that everyone in this world has had their fair share of grief, don't you agree? I have seen this world overtake the people that I love and destroy them, and it's harder to see people suffer than feel it yourself. In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we believe in something called the Atonement where our Savior, Jesus Christ, took all of the pains of the world and suffered for every single pain, teardrop, bloodshed, and every sad feeling. When everything has been ripped away from my hands and I'm at the point where I feel that there is nothing left for me, I feel the Lord's embrace/warmth of his love. This is why I remain to stay in this gospel. Love and comfort is all that man desire to have; it's a necessity of life to be able to breathe. Imagine having that all day every day. I love my Savior and I know for a fact the He loves you, too.

How I live my faith

Oh, boy! I always have a blast when it comes to gatherings and my own calling(s). I teach cute little four year old's and let me tell you right now, it has been such an honor to teach/learn from them. Anyone who is a parent or will be soon, children have a "vibe" that can blow your mind. It's almost like they know more than you. Every Sunday, when I teach them about being nice to people, doing good deeds for others, or even saying a simple prayer, they practice it right then and there. They have such a desire that I wish I had more of and I couldn't be more than grateful for my calling. I have also been called to serve an LDS mission and I can't wait to share this beautiful gospel with my brother's and sister's. This gospel, has blessed my life in so many ways; it has brought light into my world when darkness has engulfed my heart.
