Hi I'm Brian

I am an engineer and business executive. I am a descendant of the Mormon pioneers. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful lady and the father of three great children. My education is in electrical engineering and business administration. I currently work for an engineering firm doing business development and special projects. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing video games.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time early in my life where I was a Mormon because of my heritage and the way I was raised by my parents. Then came the time of leaving home to be out on my own making my own decisions, including my chosen religious beliefs. This was a time of conversion where the lessons taught to me in my youth and my internal core beliefs were evaluated to see if there was a correlation. Being a very logical person I had to have more than a "good feeling" about the church and I searched for my own personal confirmation of the truth. I studied the gospel, read the Book of Mormon, analyzed the teachings of modern prophets and apostles, and looked at the church's good works. Over time my testimony grew of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the teachings of the church. This testimony and the precepts of the gospel have provided a strong foundation for all aspects of my life and helped me withstand the many trials and challenges. It is apparent to me that being a Mormon has brought me many blessings and a great deal of happiness and continually gives me hope towards the future.

How I live my faith

I have been a Mormon since my baptism at the age of 8. Throughout the many years since that time I have been actively involved in the church and have held many callings including leadership opportunities, teaching children and adults, and service positions. My favorite experience was the years teaching and playing with the nursery kids (2-3 year old) while their parents attended their meetings or fulfilled their various callings. I served a mission to Spain sharing my testimony and the gospel with the people there. I live my faith by trying to be a good example, obeying the commandments, serving others, and striving to be the best husband and father that I can.
