Hi I'm Meg

I'm a journalist, a blogger, a traveler, a chocolate lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a writer all my life. When I started college, it was natural for me to study journalism. During my sophomore year, I had the opportunity to spend a semester in Jerusalem studying Hebrew, Arabic, and Middle Eastern history and culture. Because of this experience, I fell in love with travel and learning about other cultures. Now a senior in college, I hope to eventually work as a foreign correspondent and tell the stories that matter to people.

Why I am a Mormon

Because both my parents are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I attended church with my family while I was growing up. Now, I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I am grateful every day to have the knowledge that because of the atonement, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, this life is not the end, and we can be with our families forever. I am a Mormon because by living the principles of the gospel, and I have come to a firm knowledge that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior and the Son of a loving Heavenly Father. I know we were created in God's image and have the potential to return to Him and become all that he is.

How I live my faith

I live my faith my trying every day to be more like Jesus Christ. I am far from perfect, and I make mistakes daily. However, because of Him, I know I can try again every day. I live my faith by teaching others about my faith, both in formal capacities, and through how I live.
