Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. Went on a mission for the church to Louisville Kentucky and after returning home I moved to Utah where I met my husband. We have two handsome boys and we now live in California again. I have always been a Mormon, and wouldn't have it any other way. I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love the beach, swimming, photography, and chocolate. There's something about the ocean that centers me. I can be among thousands of people but somehow it calms me and the noise fades and I am able to think about life. I also come away refreshed whether sitting on the beach or having been in the waves.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon...because it makes me happy. I know the things taught in our church are true and it has blessed my life in more ways than I will ever completely be able to explain. I have been through so many hard times in my life and I can't even begin to imagine what things would have been like, had I not had the knowledge and the direction in my life that I have to guide me and help me to make the right decisions. I'm not saying I have always made the right decisions, but even then I have been guided back to the peace that the Savior brings when we turn to Him and make changes for the better. The gospel of Jesus Christ, His Atonement, a living prophet on the earth today...like Moses long ago, and the knowledge that we can be together forever with our family again after death are all amazing gifts that our Father in Heaven has blessed us with and I know these are gifts that are not just meant for some of our Father in Heaven's children...but for all of them. That is why I served a mission for 19 months to share these things with others.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by just being me. By sharing the truths that I know and by sharing the happiness that I feel as I live it. I am currently a Ward Missionary for the church, in which have the opportunity to go out, when available, with the full-time sister missionaries, to share my testimony, life stories and service to help others come unto Christ. When I come along with the missionaries I am also building friendships with those not of my faith. This opportunity has blessed my life and helped to strengthen me as well as I serve others in my community.
