Hi I'm Kolton Elmer

I am from Utah, I love to play the piano and sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kolton and I have received my mission call to Argentina, Comodoro Rivadavia. I leave on August 13th this year. I am 17 years old and I play the piano and the guitar. I've been playing piano for 9 years and guitar for 3. I am currently involved in choir at my high school and I love all things music. I also love to waterskii, snowskii, wake board and play soccer, and tennis.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the lord. I have studied and learned for myself that this church is true and the Book of Mormon is indeed another testament of Jesus Christ and it is an appendage to the bible. They both confirm the truths found in each of them. I know Jesus Christ suffered in Gethsemane for all mankind and it's by him and through him that eternal life and salvation is given. I also know that the Lord still calls and speaks to prophets today. I know for myself that God does listen to us and answers our prayers. He loves us and knows each of us individually. He is our Father in Heaven and he wants nothing short of the best for each and everyone of us.

How I live my faith

I try to involve myself in various community service projects. I have received my Eagle Scout award and try to live the motto and slogan: I try to "be prepared" and to "Do a good turn daily."

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Kolton Elmer
We believe that the family is central to God's plan for each of us. Family is where we teach, serve and love one another. We also believe that the family is the central unit of society. Family makes us stronger and more happier. When we are married in the temple we aren't only married in this life but for time and all eternity. So not only do we experience the joys of eternal life we also get to experience it with our family and loved ones. Show more Show less
