Hi I'm Bryce

I was born and raised in the Salt Lake valley, I'm married with 4 children, I'm a Mormon and I love to learn new things!

About Me

I am father of 4 who has been blessed with a wonderful wife and we support each other and our children. I work hard as a marketing professional in communications technology. I'm passionate about strengthening relationships with face to face conversations. I play hard too! I have been blessed with a bucket full of emotions and in my life I feel them all at time but I try to be happy because I like how happiness feels best! I struggled to get through college like most students I know but with the help of my wife we made it. I ride a longboard with my kids in the summer and I ride a snowboard with my kids in the winter. I'm just an average guy who struggles every day and I am learning in this world that the art of remaining ordinary is becoming an extraordinary feat, with the world tending to the extreme.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've learned in this world that even if this church were not true, it is a good way to live. Being a Mormon provides a decent and stable way of life that is filled with good and service and hope. And this church offers structure and stability in a continually changing and tumultuous world were the notion of right and wrong is a flexible as who is in office for the current term. But the really wonderful thing that I have learned and why I continue to live my life as a practicing Latter Day Saint is that I have cometoknow for myself that the teaching of this church are true! And when you couple the peace that the gospel ofJesus Christ brings with the hope to overcome trials and sorrow via repentance, the strength that comes from being blessed by obedient living is powerful. That strength is what keeps me going every day. And because this gospel is true, the hope of a very literal eternal marriage and the ongoing ability we will have to strengthen our marriage and family relationships throughout all time brings true joy to me and my family. I have come to know that it is true because I have lived it, I have asked God if it is true. And He has born powerful witness to me via the warmth of the Holy Spirit that it is true. I invite all to try it, and test it, and see for yourself. And then ask...is this the right way to live and be? Is it true? Is it the restored Church of Jesus Christ? I feel that you will find the truth in the test.

How I live my faith

I try to make it a point to get to know all of my immediate neighbors and find ways to connect with them. When our family has made a large meal we try to share with the widows and widowers. I try to give back to my community by simply serving when asked. I am active in our community council I volunteer at my children's school. I have been involved in teaching the youth in our ward for over 20 years and have been able to see so many grow up and have families of their own. I try to show that I am a follower of Jesus Christ by doing my best each day to just be kind. I fail often but I keep trying and in the striving I'm growing.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Bryce
Not only do I believe in prophets today but I am grateful for them! I am grateful to have the mouthpiece of God speaking to us today through the prophets because that allows us to stay aligned with Heavenly Father. I have a friend say to me once that you have to either be the Boss or be aligned with the Boss for good things to happen. When we listen to the prophets, it helps us be aligned with God so good things can happen in our lives! Show more Show less
