Hi I'm Kelsey

I love to say rad, I have hugged a lion and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Although I may feel pretty awesome because I just finished my first year of college there is so much more I want to do with my life. Including serving a mission. I am leaving June 4th for Michigan and I am more than excited! I also want to go to the super bowl. Or train a lion. I think it would be really cool to solve world hunger and I think I'm onto something. I look forward to the day that my grandkids read my journals and realize how cool I really am, but until then I'll just keep enjoying working with my family, getting sushi with my friends and going on weekend adventures with my girls!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? This church was established on specific principles by specific authority of which I have come to find out is true! This is the church of Jesus Christ and it fits my life perfectly because I follow His example. This gospel is the source of my happiness. The fact that I know where I've been, where I'm going and where I'm headed because of this gospel makes me smile. I know I have a divine purpose and so does each stranger next to me. I smile at them and I know they deserve to know all I have come to find out to be true! I am so grateful to my Father in Heaven that I have this testimony and that I can testify to each of you of it's truth!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I am really bad about reading my scriptures everyday, but I am really good at talking to my Father in Heaven. One of my favorite things to do is pray to him with my dear friends. Simple prayers with friends of gratitude is one of the most powerful things I have experienced! Prayer increases my faith everyday. Another thing I do is I work hard by choosing to recognize God. I see him everyday and therefore I know he is real! I talk about him when it is appropriate and I try to help others recognize him and in return I help them find their divine worth He has given them.
