Hi I'm Pauline

I'm from Pennsylvania. Will soon preach the gospel in Argentina. I love baking and organizing events. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve in Argentina Salta Mission! So far it has been such a nerve-wracking and uplifting decision that I've ever made. I've already received a lot of blessings throughout the mission process and I've also face some trials. With that, I do know that Heavenly Father will not give me any trials that I cannot face. I also know that he will be there guiding me throughout the process of fighting and enduring to the end. I am the youngest in my family and will be the first one that will serve a mission! When I return from my mission, I will continue my education as a Nursing major in Thomas Jefferson University. I enjoy eating different cuisines and baking. I cannot say that I'm a professional baker but I can say that I'm a professional cookie eater! In addiction, I also enjoy learning about different cultures and how each of them are unique in their own little ways.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about seven years old, my friends would always disappear during Sunday and I am left with no one to play with. So one day I asked them where they hide. One of my friend replied saying that they go to church. Being a curious little kid, I asked questions on what they do in church. To help me answer all of my questions, she invited me to attend Primary with them. I enjoyed Primary so much and my mom saw the difference with my actions and enthusiasm. One day when the missionaries asked if they can visit my house to talk to my parents, I agreed with a full heart. My parents asked them so many questions. They also prayed and pondered if the gospel is really true. Then on my father's birthday, the whole family attended church. With a curious little mind of mine when I was seven, my family was blessed to much. Of course we faced a lot of hardships and trials in life, but with the help of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy ghost, and learning the teachings of the gospel, we were strengthened and still continue to grow strong. So why am I Mormon? I am a Mormon not just because of the blessing that my family and I received, but also for the teaching of the gospel. I learned and understand Heavenly Father's plan for us. I also learned how he wants me to be the best that I can be. He wants nothing but the best of all of us. We are all sons and daughter of God and he will always be there to guide and support us. We just need to humble ourselves down and reach out to him. I love the gospel and I know for a fact that I am not going to be who I am right now without it.

How I live my faith

I am currently the secretary of the Young Women's organization. I teach and care for the girls in our branch whose ages are between 12-18. Our presidency also home visit the girls as much as we can to help them with their personal progress or homework. We also help them, with the best of our abilities, with anything that their family might need. I will also serve a mission in Salta, Argentina soon!
