Hi I'm Erica

I am an actor and singer. I'm a reader, a dreamer, and a writer. I'm a missionary, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Oregon. I am majoring in Musical Theater at Brigham Young University-Hawaii. Currently, I am serving a mission in Arizona Mesa. I am passionate about reading, acting, and singing. I have a wild imagination and I love to write stories. I am happy and I love my family and friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon since I was born. I chose to be baptized when I was 8 years old. When I was 17 years old, I began to doubt some of the teachings of the church. Two things that I never questioned were my testimony that God existed, and my testimony that through the Lord's Plan of Happiness, we could return to Him and live with our families for all eternity. It took some time for me to fully understand these principles, but I held firm to those beliefs. Eventually I was able to find the truth about other teachings in the gospel, such as: President Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet of God, we can repent of our sins through the Atonement of Christ, and the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints is the true church, and I know the gospel is true. Knowing that I can start every day with a clean slate because of the atonement of Jesus Christ has brought me true joy. I know that it is because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ that I can accomplish all that God has in store for me. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and all of His children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the people around me. I live my faith by praying and reading my scriptures daily. I live my faith by attending my Family Home Evening every monday night. I live my faith by studying the talks given by our prophet and apostles every six months.
