Hi I'm Macy

I'm a college student and dancer. I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently 19 years old and I attend Brigham Young University. I love to dance. I have been dancing for 15 years now. I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in California.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the church. My parents do not force me to attend, I choose to. I never knew some of the great blessings that would come from my membership later on in life. I've been through some challenges in my life, but Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have helped me make the right choices as I've prayed for their guidance. I'm so thankful for my membership in this church, I love and cherish it more than anything. I know that if we take Christ's yoke upon us, that we will find peace and strength. (see Matthew 11:28-30)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be an example to others around me, especially at school. You really never know whose life you can influence or touch. I attend my church meetings regularly and faithfully. Dance conflicts with church on Sundays sometimes, but I know that if I put God first, everything else will fall into place. I am a missionary for the church and I've left behind my home and family to share the gospel with others because it brings happiness into my life and I want to share it with others!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Macy
All throughout history, God has chosen prophets to teach and direct His church on the Earth. God loved his children in the past, and He loves His children of the present. Why would He leave us stranded in a world of darkness and confusion? He would not, and He has not. We have a living prophet on the Earth today, Thomas S. Monson. If we follow the prophet, our lives will be happier and more peaceful. We invite you to listen and read the words of living prophets, and study & ponder their teachings for yourself.
