Hi I'm Golden Kofoed

I grew up in Utah, I am a wood worker and an outdoorsman. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah, since I was younger I spent a good portion of the summers working with my uncle in Idaho and learned and improved my skills with construction, floor covering and wood working. Going through Junior High School and High School I found my love for cabinetry and finish wood work. I live in Utah so, naturally there are a lot of mountains around, that is where I have found my joy with the outdoors. I decided to use that joy of the outdoors and my concern for the welfare of the people in my community and joined my county's Explorer Search and Rescue.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and chose to be baptized because everything made sense to me, I have always felt good about it and knew that Joseph Smith was called of god to restore Christ's church back to the earth once again. I have had many experiences in life that God had played a big roll in, including finding the truth. I know that the church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is his kingdom once again established to the earth preparatory to his second coming. What this means to me is the fact that God is the same yesterday, today and he will always work by the hands of Prophets and Apostles to guide his children, in whom he loves, back to him.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission in Michigan, I enjoy helping others see the truth of the message of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ and see the change in their lives! I am a servant of the Lord and am pleased to do his will here in Michigan.
