Hi I'm BreeAnna

I live in Southern Utah with my husband and children. We live on an alfalfa farm and love the country.

About Me

I grew up in the city but married a farmer. It was quite the change for me but I wouldn't take it back for anything in the world! I am so blessed to be living in the country with my kids and for them to have a yard and fresh clean air. In my "free time" I like to be creative. My true love will always be crochet but I also know how to knit and sew. I use my craft time to unwind and relax. It's very rare that you would ever see me watching tv without some kind of craft in my hands. I also blog about our family life and my crochet patterns. Anything to keep that mind active right? Our kids are still young, not in school yet, so we have lots of hours together and I am pretty sure I will cry when that ends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I would be lost without it. Too many times in my life I have been in a situation where if I didn't understand the higher purpose for life I would have likely made some very bad decisions. I know that I have been led and guided through my life to where I am now. The comfort and peace that I receive when I study the scriptures and the teachings of the Prophet tell me that I am doing what I am supposed to do. It is a hard feeling to describe but I am motivated, uplifted and at peace all at the same time. It is a wonderful feeling!

How I live my faith

I teach the 9 year old children. I love it. They are thirsty to learn and already know so much that sometimes I worry I won't have much to teach them about The Gospel that they don't already know. We study the scriptures and sing hymns in our home.

Are Mormons Christians?

BreeAnna
Absolutely we are Christians! Christians follow and believe in Christ. Our church bears his name, paintings of The Savior are in our homes and meeting houses, we sing praises to Him in our meetings and we teach our children to learn His teachings, we try to follow His example in our day to day lives. We most definitely are Christians. Show more Show less
