Hi I'm Hannah Perryman

I grew up in Indiana. I'm a book nerd. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

There really isn't too much that's special about me. I grew up in Indiana practically my whole life. Every summer I look forward to seeing the beautiful green corn pop up. I'm a pretty big book nerd. I'll read practically any book someone suggests to me and every book I finish I always swear it's the best book ever. I ran track in high school, but I didn't do it because I was any good at it, trust me. I mainly did it to stay in shape and have fun with all the other girls on the team. However, swimming is where it's at. Probably the best sport ever invented. Music is probably the best thing ever invented as well. I don't know about you, but music keeps me going throughout the day. I love listening to country music, especially in the summer time and other than that all I mainly listen to is alternative rock. I'm in love with it all. Other than those boring 'ole things, that pretty sums me up. I'm just a normal young adult who is just starting off her life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for a fact that this church is absolutely true. You may be asking yourself how does someone know for a fact that what they have been taught is true? Granted I grew up in this church so since I was born I've been taught the principles and teachings of the LDS church and many can even say that I'm a Mormon just because I grew up that way. In a since that's sort of true. However, back when I was a sophomore in high school, I always had the question, what makes the LDS church any different than some other christian church? So, I used my knowledge of prayer and I prayed to my Heavenly Father to help me know weather or not this church was true and to tell you the truth, I didn't receive some big revelation or anything answering my prayer. It took a while, but I began to notice a certain feeling I would receive when I would be taught things about the LDS church. I came to recognize that as the Spirit testifying to me that what I was learning and listening to was right and what my Heavenly Father wanted me to participate in. Since then, I have never received a bad feeling towards any teaching or principle in this church. So all in all, I am a Mormon because I know that what I believe is to be correct and good.

How I live my faith

To start off, I just want to say, I absolutely LOVE this church and this gospel. How I live my faith is through service. I find it to be one the most fundamental principles to a happy and fulfilled life. What I do in the church is I go out with the sister missionaries (who are absolutely AMAZING!!) who are serving in my church boundaries and I help them to teach and bring others unto Christ and this gospel. It's also hard for the sisters to walk everywhere so I also help drive them to peoples houses for appointments and meetings they might have. It's such a wonderful feeling when I am blessed with the opportunity to serve with the sisters and to love the people of my area.
