Hi I'm Pauline

I am English but live in Norway. I am a computer engineer, a wife and mother of four, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy-go-lucky sort of person and love all kinds of sports, especially tennis and land-hockey. I also enjoy genalogy, photography and most of all, being with my family. We have two boys and two girls, three of whom are married and the final girl is serving a mission for the Church at Temple Square, Salt Lake City.

Why I am a Mormon

I had investigated the Catholic Church, and subsequently left that faith, several years before I met the missionaries. When they bagan to teach me I felt as though I had "come home". When they taught me about being married for eternity and not jsut for this life, I knew it was true. I've been a member of the Church now for 33 years.

How I live my faith

I am responsible for all the women in my congragation who are 18 years and older. It is a big responsibility but I love what I do. I also work in our Temple in Stockholm 1-2 weeks a year.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Pauline
I am the President of the women's organisation in our congregation, which is called "The Relief Society". I have two counsellors and eight board members. I counsel regularly with the Bishop and the other leaders of the congregation, and together we try to find ways to bless all the members of our congregation. Show more Show less
