Hi I'm Lia Tauiliili

Talofa I am a Samoan, I am full time missionary,I am a veteran and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I love the outdoors and sports. I'm very open, adventurous and spontaneous. Currently serving in The Great California Ventura Mission spanish speaking. I grew up in the church and I'm so blessed to be a part of the one and only true Church in these latter days.

Why I am a Mormon

Ive been a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints all my life. Am I perfect? No. Growing up I always follow my grandparents footsteps, they were strong members of the church and despite of life and it calamities they diligently held the faith and endure till the end. Life for me was easy for me cause i had them and the gospel, which at that point the only testimony that i had has a child was the one they taught me. i left home for the first time coming to the United States for work and school. It was a different and new experiences. Weeks turn into Months and then to years, Ive gone astray from the gospel, so yes you can say Ive done things that was against my belief and what i was taught to be true when growing up. Ive lose my grandfather and things went way down down down hill for me. I become even more stubborn and question God's work and just being rebellious.I started to come back to the church and try to do what right and look for that peace that I've long for since i couldn't find it at the bottom of a liquor bottle i came back without expecting this big change in my life. Little did I know My life was at it great turning point. Here I am, full actively engage in the work of The Great One. I have gained my testimony, from all the things and experiences that i had before comparing it to the life i have now with the gospel. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he and Heavenly Father lives and the power of the atonement is REAL, He loves each and everyone of us. All we have to do is to come to him with a broken heart and contrite spirit and have faith in him that he take our load and take upon his yoke which is light. He will give you aid, he will give you rest. He's mindful of you and your situation, you're entitle to many blessings that he wants you to have. He took upon him our sins, he pay the full price and all we have to do is come to him and repent. The power of prayer is real and he is always lending a listening ear.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in The Great California Ventura Mission before I Love All Church activities we have in the ward(Buena Vista YSA). Im away from home and I have no family at where I'm at, but it feels like home cause everyone is so friendly and ward activities like FHE on Mondays they're super fun, get to play games and mingle with other single adults i couldn't ask for another way to spend my Monday evening than being with my spiritual family. Tuesday is temple night, awesome night ever get to go and be closer to my Heavenly Father, Ive never thought I'll ever go to the Temple but it has been a wonderful opportunity and a great blessing in my life. Wednesday is Game Night With The Missionary. It a casual activity where we have our non-members, investigators and members to hang out and play all sort of different games and SOCIALIZE , couldn't ask for any better way to share the gospel and testimony with friends. Thursday is institute night, yay this year is the book of mormon. Have friends that are recent converts that love to learn more about the book of mormons and institute helps a lot. Friday Night is dance night, well some friday night. Saturday catch up with my rest and for my favorite day ever Sunday. On Sunday i reflect back on my week and think of things that i could make it better for this week. I get to renew my covenant and teach the awesome sisters in the ward. Later on Evening Sacrament are the best too cause if it fast sunday i get to bear my testimony again. Life is Awesome. Each Day I live and pray for missionary opportunity and service to others that i come in contact with.
