Hi I'm John

I am a Husband, Father and Entrepreneur. I am a Disciple of Jesus and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love business and consider myself an entrepreneur. I like the challenge of creating something that makes the lives of others just a little bit better. I am thankful for those great minds who have influence my thinking regarding leadership and management such as Edwards Deming, Steve Covey, John Maxwell and James Allen to name a few. I love the relationships that develop in business and value them. Although I am enthralled with business, my life revolves around my wife, children and my God. I enjoy spending time outdoors with them or doing music together. It doesn't really matter what we do as long as we are together. I believe that God is the source of that is good in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am convinced that God lives and loves all of us. He desires that we develop and grow, find joy and become more like him. I adore His son Jesus Christ and am filled with gratitude for what he was able to accomplish through His atoning sacrifice and resurrection. Even when things seem to be going all wrong we can be filled with gratitude for this alone. I believe that Jesus established a church to help His Father fulfill the objectives mentioned above. I also believe the The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is that church. Yes, except for Jesus, we are all imperfect, but God allows us to serve as each others clinical material in this church as stated by a former church leader Neal Maxwell.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the young men in my ward. I see my role as helping them navigate through some confusing and challenging years and get them successfully to adulthood. The world offers a path that appears to bring happiness, but end the can lead to addictions, broken relationships and sorrow. I love these young men I serve and desire that they are able to find as much joy in this life as possible. I know part of life include hardship, sorrow and sadness as part of the inherent nature of mortality. I want them know how to trust in God and during these hard times and then receive the grace of Jesus Christ.that makes us into who God intended us to be.
